The College of Social Sciences at Kuwait University is one of the major academic units within the university. College Mission
The college attracts a large number of male and female students. The number of enrolled students has reached about 2,800 and 114 faculty members. The college moved to its new buildings at the Shuwaikh site in 2004, after it had been in Kaifan site since its inception. The college offers a master's degree in Psychology, Information Studies, Geography, Political Sciences, Sociology and Social Work, in addition to a joint master's degree "Applied Earth Sciences and Geographical Information Systems" between the Department of Geography and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the College of Science. Academic programs are constantly evaluated to ensure quality standards and global competition.
