About the Office of the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies

The College of Social Sciences is making distinguished efforts to develop the current and future academic programs. The Office of the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies follows up on the current and future academic programs of the College and develops them in line with the latest global developments and developments in similar programs through study and striving to make a qualitative shift commensurate with the goals of the College of Social Sciences. To achieve this, the college did the following:

Academic development activities:

1- Supporting and promoting scientific research.

2- Modernisation and development of support services, which includes developing laboratories, modernising equipment and information sources, developing classrooms and providing them with information technology.

3- Developing the relationship between the college, the community and its various institutions.

Academic affairs :

• Granting scientific and sabbatical licenses to a number of faculty members in order to raise their scientific level, conduct research and keep pace with recent developments in their fields of specialisation in the most prestigious international universities.

The office supervises the academic accreditation unit of the college.
